What is the Presence Gap?

The Presence Gap is the distance between our capacity for connection and how much of it we actually live, widened by chronic stress, digital overload, and shifting roles. It shows up as three kinds of disconnection: from self, from people, and from purpose.

It opens quietly, on autopilot. Most of us are living in it without a name for it.

Presence Gap Check-In

Thirteen questions. Three rings. One small thing to try this week.

Three Forms of Disconnection

Many of us are living with at least one.

Self

Disconnection from self

Who am I now? The roles that once defined you have shifted or disappeared.

People

Disconnection from people

A thousand contacts. No one to call. The skills that build real relationships feel rusty or forgotten.

Purpose

Disconnection from purpose

You are doing things, but you do not know why they matter anymore. Your days have structure but no purpose.

Disconnection is not a character flaw.It is a predictable response to the world we are living in.

We sit in rooms of glowing light,
yet somehow lost the art of sight.
Still something rose against the dark.
The souls beside us, barely known.
We were never meant to shine alone.
